I would say Sephiroth. Then Vincent. Then Reno. Then just ay... that's when it became less fairweather fan to fan.

2. The character you never expected to love as much as you do now:

Probably Aerith. I thought I despised her. And now... she actually affects me quite significantly, and she affects my main muse too.

3. The character everyone else loves that you don’t [like as much]:

Hm. Main characters. Reno was crapped all over in AC/ACC.

4. The character you love that everyone else hates:

Cait Sith is quite divisive as far as fans go. English / European gamers in particular seem to hate him.

5. The character you would shag anytime:

Tseng. Then Veld. Fuhito. Scarlet. Not necessarily in that order, and not necessarily in silo ^^

6. The character you'd want to be like:

Probably... Reeve. Yep, Reeve. He's got that diligence, the 'right visions'... yet is still slightly dorky (and often slightly borderline (insane) genius). Push the boundaries and yet straddle the lines. Play, understand and work with or around others. If that means sacrificing sanity for sustainability, then so be it... at least it would have made a difference. Nanaki and Vincent and Rufus will proceed him, but the choice of 'legacy' is not automatic. I firmly believe him and Veld (and Hojo) are the ones that have shaped the future of Gaia - for better and for worse, via Shinra, via the Turks, via experiments. All great men. And at least in reference to Veld and Reeve - the most human eventually.

My otp for FFVII has been Tseng and Reeve for quite some time now, though I do have others I enjoy.

On a sexual level I do not like Aerith and Cloud. AT ALL. Not because Aerith is an innocent flower. Just even with awesome Clerith players... it's not right in my mind

Reeve.

11. What are your five favorite things about the fandom?

1 - The span of it - whilst the compilation is guilty of some horrific things, the whole entire storyline is truly epic and is just made all the more detailed by certain additional aspects of the timeline.
2 - The way it plays off morality by switching sides / perspectives.
3 - The characters and their part to play.
4 - The Turks.
5 - Reeve and Cait Sith.

12. What are your five least favorite things about the fandom?

1 - elitism.
2 - related to above, but the utter seriousness of some people about FFVII
3 - most definitely related to above (seriousness in itself is not something I dislike) - childishness. Not every writer, player, RPer of this fandom will agree with everybody else. It seems pretty standard for 3 to correlate with 1 through a filter of 2. Which to a near 30 year old =idiocy.
4 - retconning upon occasion does make me head-desk
5 - the inability to play Before Crisis in this country

I actually don't know anymore - for even the characters I saw as my least favourites, I have developed at least a certain appreciation as of recent times

Sephiroth x Cloud - despite there being very pretty artwork for this pairing just. NO.
Genesis x Sephiroth
Cloud x Aerith - something more than sex, yes, but... not a pairing preference.
Tseng x Elena... sweet but nah.
Tseng x Rufus. Apart from the obvious and it won't ever change (don't want it to either). But I don't like the endlessly predictable. It is amazing as a character relationship. Not as a typical sexual partnership.

17. Which character are you most like?
A mixture of Reeve and Reno and Tifa. Now that's a goddamn combination.

18. What is your deep, dark fandom secret?
Hmf~ I have kinks and they are varied. No deep dark secrets ever with me.
